Thinking of selling my diesel. How much is it worth?

Here's what I have:

1980 300SD (W116)
114,000 miles
No Rust
Front and back window seals just replaced
Brand new front brakes and bearings
Valves just adjusted
Timing chain is in outstanding condition
Colour is Manila Beige aka yellow
No sunroof
Interior is great besides front seat. They need to be redone. Back seat and headliner is perfect.
Dash isnt cracked.
New motor mounts.
It runs great tons of power.
No accidents
a/c heat works about 50% percent of the time.

So how much is it worth.

Sounds like a $4000-4500 car at least. Depends on the "look" it has in person of course. Pictures?

A nice rust free W116 with low miles is also hard to find, which adds value...perhaps even higher than $4500!

I paid $5900 for a similar 79SD last November. Mine had a new Servo and fully functioning AC.

It's hard to say right now. I have what I consider a very nice example of a 300SD, but prices have seemed to plummet recently. I used to think I could get $5000 if I tried, $4000 if not to hard. Now I don't know, maybe $3000. Diesel prices scare people.

I got mine for $2500. In as good condition as yours and silver/blue combo.
Depends on where in the country you are.
Not many in your area? Higher value.
Loads to choose from? Lower value.
