Man..

It's a six cylinder, no a four cylinder TURBO CHARGED engine. Or is it a six cylinder? Did they even put a 6 cylinder in a 116? Or is it a 123? I'm confused?

It also says it the dependable 5cyl engine. Ah, the rare 6/5/4 cyl turbo diesel engine. I wish I had one!

Every enthusiast knows the rarity of these cars and there are even threads on the forums talking about how rare it is to even find one of these, let alone in museum quality.
How true, They are so rare I have never seen one before!

That entire ad doesn't make sense...

The dashboard has Major cracks ( very noticeable).

The dash is seriously cracked.

Dash Surfaces -- Very Clean - Minor hairline crack

I wouldn't know what to do if I saw an ad like that... Oh wait, avoid it and the "rusty undercarriage"

I hope my eyes aren't deceiving me, but it sure looks a lot like the same body as my W123...

I can also pick If you have any questions about this truck please do NOT hesitate to contact me

Ahahaha...

One of his feedbacks says,"Car not as described AT ALL!!! , I drove 275 miles, and it would barely run, F-"
Another said,"Car was misrepresented. Condition of car was not as advertised.
What would you like to predict the buyer of this car will say?

Well since he describes it in so many ways they buyer can't say it was not as described.

Here is another jem: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mercedes-Benz-200-Series-NO-RESERVE-1974-Mercedes-Benz-280-Classic-200-Series_W0QQitemZ220224293103QQihZ012QQcategoryZ6329QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

That's bizzare. It has what looks to be the old-style vacuum cruise control modulator, the turbo air cleaner, an aftermarket A/C? by the air cleaner, a very odd manual CCU, etc.

Could it be a 615? engine into the W123 body?

Neil Boortz titled a chapter in one of his books, "The Louder the Ad, The Dumber They Think You Are." I think that applies here.

Of course, we all know it's a w123. But even if the idiot selling it doesn't know, he just needs to read the vin # (starting w/123) that he published. This guy is obviously another ebay dealer moving cars of which he knows nothing. It's very dangerous to buy from these creeps.
