123 blower motor id
 

So the front bearing of my blower motor is worn to the point that the thing makes awful sounds and vibrations. In doing research on a replacement motor, i have found two kinds: bosch and behr. The question is, how do i identify which i have? It has no markings on it at all. Mine looks different from the pictures of the new replacement motors in that the brushes are located at the top of the motor (where the fan attaches) instead of at the rear. The only company name i could find was stamped on the bottom of plastic motor housing cover. It says Siemens.

Do I even need to identify what i have now? are the bosch and behr motors interchangeable?
