Tranny swap, Auto to Manual on a 190e?
How hard would it be to change an automatic 1991 190e to a manual transmission? Assuming you have a parts car to take all the manual parts out of. I am thinking things like the clutch pedal. Would there be a hole already there or would you have to cut one? Would there be places to bolt the pedal in?
Why do I want to do this? I want to make an electric car and it won't work with an automatic. I have found an automatic with a good body, and a crappy donor manual. Thanks |

Everything will interchange. remove the automatic shifter and slip in the stick, unbolt single pedal and bolt in double pedal cluster and so forth. If you have two complete cars just start swapping things over.
