Also, pop the hood, and look for the U Tube.

I had someone on a different forum tell me my car was made in 10/81, so it should be a non turbo. The plate on the door jamb concurs with the mfg date. It is classified as an '82. As we all know a car made in Oct of the prior year is typically classified in the new model year.

So trust the trunk and trust the engine. Also helps to know the years changes were made.
