One thing to note is that this function my require you to point the remote at the driver's door or one of the IR sensors. On my '98 it's not a RF function. Again, all this was in my manual... Makes great reading!

Wasn't that feature a big deal in a VW TV ad a couple of years ago?
Like Chrysler touting dual sliding doors in the 96 models when the Toyota Hi-Ace had it since 74 and it was an uncommon option in Euro VW microbuses from the 60s. Sixto 87 300D |

I read the manuals for my 87 SDL and 87 300D. No mention of that feature. I don't remember if my 91 SE had it. 93 SD was the oldest car I've owned that had it.

I tried it but it did not work. I guess you need power windows and a power sunroof...
