My truly most useless tool is my "Tim Allen Signature" multi-size socket. It's this thing that looks like a spark plug socket with a bunch of pins inside that compress to accomodate a variety of size nuts. The very first time I tried to use it, it slipped off the nut and I gashed my hand, adding another permanent scar to the numerous ones already there...

It came in this little holster with a 3/8 ratchet, Tim Allen's signature and "RRRRRR..." written on it! No, I didn't buy it for myself, I got it as a gift...
Actually the Tim Allen socket makes perfect sense as on the show Tim Allen was always having accidents with his tools.
I was reading through the other members post on their most useless tools and was reminded that I have a Creeper. I have no idea where it is anymore but I must have it some where as I do not throw things out.
Strangely I like blade screwdrivers better than Phillips head ones. I have stripped more Phillips head screws than slotted type screws. Besides, blade screw drivers are good for prying.

Actually my creeper is currently nailed to a window sill as an extension for my wife's perishable outdoor plants that are overwintering in the garage.

If I were younger I would seriously try to get a Patent redesigning the thing...

I always wanted to get a Patent so I could tell people at parties out of the side of my mouth, "Oh yeah, I have a patent..." ( the last party I went to I think was in 2002)

This would be my idea.

I would invent a Goretex body suit with minature marble sized roller casters stitched to it every 1/2 sq foot on the back so your entire back body would be the dolly surface.

If anyone wants to try a free prototype IM me

The most useless tool I own has to be the thing that looks like a grease gun, but it's supposed to be filled with transmission/differential oil to help filling in awkward positions. The thing has a capacity around one coffee cup and half of it will leak out through the shaft and run down my arm. It has been sitting in a plastic bag soaked in transmission oil for a few years. A lot easier to just use a hose on the regular bottle..

Next, it's the "XXL" metric tool kit which come without 10, 13, 17 and 19 mm sockets, but it does have 9, 14, 16, 18 and 20 mm..
