Fuel pump in tank

Quick question? on a 1982 300SD is there a fuel pump in the tank? If so what pressure does it deliver?

If not fuel is sucked from the injector pump or gravity feed (can not see this working on hills so thinking not).

I have put a 617 into an old jeep time to get it fuel http://bb.bc4x4.com/showthread.php?t=123204

Anyone have a schematic of the cooling system?

I gave a quick search, but need to finish a paper I am writing sorry if it has been covered

Cheers
David

The "lift pump" is on the side of the IP. Manual primer pump attaches to it.

if you wanted to add a redundant LP you could buy a kennedy LP and ad it too... still any tank.. it is a free flowing inline.
