Question NW Get Together - Details?

OK, I have the date, but no firm details on time and place.

Could someone please fill in the blanks here?

Another idea for the tech sessions is a demonstration on setting timing - by the drip method AND any other methods that could be considered "common practice"

I'm willing to allow my car to be the "demonstration" car for the valve-adjustment. I can get it there early in the morning and let it sit so that it cools down enough to be ready for a late afternoon session...

bgkast, since you seem to be the one organizing things, can you PM me a phone number so we can make arrangements?

Do we need to register for the Aug 9th Tech Sessions? If we do what are the procedures?

No, you can just show up with the $1 parking fee for the tech sessions.

Since it sounds like there'll be quite a few folks heading past me (SW Oregon, near Grants Pass)....

....and shipping/hauling is normally so expensive these days...

....I thought I'd briefly mention here that I'm actively shopping for a pair of 3.0 TD engines in good condition right now.

So if any of you are going up I-5 past Medford OR, and have engines that you'd like to turn into cash, and could carry up with you, please email me at:

metal@fullwave.com

thanks much,

Richard

I'm in!

I'm still in for the tech session and I registered for the Show and Shine on Sunday too. My brother will be joining me for the Show and Shine and hopefully the tech session too. I will be driving up to Seattle on Saturday morning so if anyone from the area or south wants to caravan I'm up for it.

$15 a person and $5 a car, registration due yesterday. I have no idea how firm that deadline is, I don't know anything but what I read about it.

Doh, I forgot to register, even after I posted the reminder. I just called and left and email message begging to register.

Let me know what they say. I wasn't going to do the show & shine, but now that I have my new dash cover installed & all my gauges working, I just might....

Holy Crap! I better get a steak with that!

My clear coat is going and flaking off. I may skip the show and shine if they won't take a registration on the spot.

if you have not pre-registered for the Sunday MBCA show and lunch it is not too late, but you better do it now!

My quick count shows 20 members so far...

It's unclear from the MBCA webpage, but can folks just show up and view the cars, or do you need to pay to enter?
