Glad we can help and good luck getting the ALDA out/adjusted or whatever it is your trying to accomplish hehe. I found it easier to get to by sliding the Windshield Washer reservoir up and out of the way a litte.

Emissions limits for Diesels are 20% opacity, to get that kind of thick smoke would take a lot more fuel than the car can deliver with only the ALDA removed. ALL diesels have black smoke unless its choked with a particulate filter.
