Disconnect Climate Control

I attempted to do this to make the car shift better but I don't think i plugged the right line. I disconnected the gray tube with the green stripe and plugged it with a golf tee.

When I first did it, the car seemed to shift better but I think it may have been my imagination. I'd like to do it right. Can you help?
