Sorry about the 96/97 confusion; helping too many folks at one time sometimes.

I'd swap in the new K40 out first; it powers numerous items, quite possibly the transducers too.

Afterwards, if you still felt the EGR was not functioning properly you could swap it with the one from the turbo and see if the problem moves with it.

Good thinking. I'm almost sure it's a K40/ECM data/control issue at this point. The car runs to well for there to be any major mechanical issues.

After I iron this one out, I'm going to have the wheels/tires balanced and rotated again. Should make the car roll smooth as silk again.
