I usually hate lowering cars but that rim combo just looks great. I still say its a silly thing to do as it reduces usability!

get airbags then have your cake and eat it too!

I expect you will blow out your shocks and have to switch to HDs.

X2. I'm currently looking for wheels and not finding much to choose from. There are only 2 choices at the Tire Rack link.

I just won a set of front springs on eBay, thanks everyone.

The wheels are 16" CLKs, they looked a bit funky on the unmodified suspension but now I think it fits the style perfectly. I still need to remove the hub grease cap and either cut and reweld it or maybe just take a sledge to it to make the dome shorter. Overall the ride good, I can tell that I'm just a bit past the efficient damping range of the shock. We'll see how long these last, might have to upgrade to HDs at some point. Hopefully the extra inch of travel after I swap out springs will help... I have to say the response on the road has been great, got a few thumbs up and long stares on my way home today. I know it's not everyones cup of tea, but I'm diggin it.

In hindsight I should have bid on it for you so we could combine shipping costs and save a few bucks... Oh well. TriStar parts wanted $60 per spring! And Coventry would have sold them for $20 but I would have had to go after work one day and pull them myself. I figure $50 for both on ebay and they show up at my doorstep isn't a bad deal.

Do the Voglands make the car sit lower? ride harder? what is the price for them?

are there some sort of center piece for the CLK wheels? maybe some Baby Moons?

Oh! These parts were from the same source? Oh, crap! Well at least you got your parts and that is a good deal! Where is Coventry? I have time during the weekdays now!
