Diagnostic codes

Hello,
I'm looking for a description of diagnostic socket (rectangular, 8 pins) and description for errors.
I get 2 pulses on 6-th pin.
Thanks for any help,

The #6 socket is for SRS. The #2 code is for control unit self test failure. Try to clear it and don't worry about it if it clears.

Thanks for the answer.
I've got the full documentation about diagnostic in MB since yesterday so I know the answer :-))))
The fault code was #3 so driver's airbag squib. I reset it and there are not the other failure. The SRS bulb also works perfect.
But I've got another question.
Is european W124 cars have also ETR diagnostics joint with SRS?

The amount of ETR a car has depends on year, model, and possibly version in non US models. I am pretty sure that whatever diagnostics that are available are through the AB socket.

For US 124 models there are no specific codes for emergency tentioning retractor. There is a note in the DM (diagnostic manual) that states to do the ETR electrical test if either code 3 or code 4 won't reset.

The electrical test involves using a BOB ( break out box) to test the ETR squibs for resistance; 2-5ohms, isolation resistance; greater than 20kohms and wiring check.

My documentation tells that #5 is driver ETR and #6 is passenger ETR on wide range of models till '93 (with analog diagnostic).
I think it should be a separate fault code for ETR.
Thanks for the electrical parameters of ETR!
