I used Fuchs Titan 4134 last time in the CLK (same 722.6 A/T). I do it every 30k or so as it's a 2002 year without a torque converter drain. This is the second time I've done it on this car, both times with 4134, and all is well.

Any MB Bevo 234.12 or 236.14 fluid will work, they're backwards-compatible. If you can find an APPROVED 236.10 fluid, that is fine too. Just avoid anything not on the Bevo site, many fluids will say "recommended for MB 236.10" when in reality they are not factory-approved fluids. I wouldn't roll the dice on those.

If it is a replacement, can someone tell me what this cap is? I can get the part no. if interested.
The transmission is "sealed for life", and the marquee line is that it never needs service. So when you service it, you have to break off that cap, refill the transmission, install a temporary dipstick to measure fluid level, and then install a new sealing cap. Just another brilliant design.

Are you able to recommend particular magnets to purchase?
