AFAIK you make those grills, just buy the chrome strips and glue them on.
OK thanks, I thought they were some after mkt grill. saw some on either Gremany or a couple cars on the sweedish site. they look good with the black grill.

with summer here I can enjoy my new manual sun roof . It never did work right, plus now I can save some energy and remove some weight off the car with the cable and electric motor.

It was 96* wed. and yesterday was 92* here in Santa Cruz and no air cond. and today @ 10AM it is already to 90*.

Hatterasguy, I just have to ask you two questions

1) About your screen name - is your wife/girlfriend named Hattera (Hattie)?
2) About your signature - are those quotes of characters from some novel, comic, video game, movie, anime' flick - or what?

Sorry to hijack such a focused thread, but my curiousity got the best of me....

OMFG you hijacked this amazingly important thread!

My screen name comes for Hatteras Yachts, because they are amazing and I want to buy one at some point.

The last quote comes from the Rothschild family, if one wants to build wealth they must take risks and buy when everyone else is in a panic.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rothschild_family

The other ones are recent they come from Code Geass, which is a pretty decent anime. The characters are good, plot decent, action OK, animations supurb, and the monster ego of Zero just adds to it.

This thread must be discontinued..it has nothing to do with Diesels..

This thread must be discontinued..it has nothing to do with Diesels..as someone who believes that this forum should set ISO 9001, IEEE,International Automotive Engineering and Societe' Automotive Generale standards for perfect stoichiometric technical discussion with a minimum of digression from non technical verbiage i would like to reiterate in ominous seriousness:

SUMMER IS HERE. I WANT A COLD FROSTY BEER

Sounds like you have had a few!

Ever notice beer tastes better when you are standing around your diesel Mercedes talking about diesel Mercedes?

Or when it is so hot out and you are working on your diesel MB and are really hot, a nice ice cold beer is just amazing.

No matter what you are working at or on, or whenever the temps get above about 75, a nice cold beer (alcohol free for me thanks) is about the best tasting thing on the planet...

As someone's sig line says
"The proof that God loves us is that He gave us beer"
