M603 injector help

My 1987 300D turbo has severe nailing issues. I would like to replace or rebuild the injectors. I have read the horror stories in the old posts about inferior quality replacements and clueless diesel repair outfits. I just want to spend the money once and get the desired results.
Questions:
*Has anyone used the injectors available thru this site in their 603?
*Is it worth it to just buy them from the local dealer? ($$$ouch!)
*Does anyone know of a reputable rebuilder out there who can handle this?

I hope that my post has not been too long and thanks for your help!

You might want to move this or repost it over in the diesel section.

I cured nailing in my 87 SDL by replacing delivery valve seals that weren't leaking externally. Others have gotten lucky with just a fresh set of heat shields or injector seals.

Gus Pfister is among the most knowledgable in the country when it comes to these fuel systems - http://www.bayarea02.com/features/pfister-interview/index.html I heard he still doesn't take credit cards.

If you know the mileage on the set in the engine now, it would be of help in diagnosis. The first thing is to pop test them (or take them to someone who can.)

When you say 'local dealer' where's local?

Do a search for Monark nozzles on this forum. I've used these for a long time and I have zero complaints.

Another "thumbs up" for the Monark Nozzles that are in my car.
