Oh, and you can rent a pressure washer and DIY. But its going to leave a lot of crud on your drive

I just repaired my floorpans so I need to paint the metal that was used to do the repairs before I put undercoating on. While I'm at it, I want to clean the grease off from the surrounding areas so there's a bit of overlap in the repair area, meaning, no cracks/gaps for water to get in. If I don't clean the grease off, the new coating will not adhere.

Thoughts?

Most of the stuff in the can is garbage. You may be able to find some proffesional stuff and it will be expensive. Go to an autobody paint supply shop and talk to them. If you buy the stuff thats like $5 a can its crap and does nothing but make stuff black for a while.

Rocker Shutz from Spies (sp?) is good stuff.
