PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum - A/C Troubles - 1983 300D Turbo

PROBLEMS:

Air flow is only on the outside vents and throught the defrost vents. I cannot get any air flow through the center vents.
Sometimes it will blow cold air, but most of the time the air is hot.
The compressor is working fine: cold air is even entering the cabin on the passenger side entrance into the blower motor. The hose gets very cold, but no cold air reaches the vents.

WHAT I HAVE DONE:

Repaired the monovalve
Replaced the climate control unit in the dash

What is my next step in solving this problem before I get roasted out of my care in the summer months?
