Actually, after driving Max for a few months, I realized how much I love diesels. If you can find a way to boost the power on it for a faster take off, you'll really have something. The car looks terrific, BTW. There's always the performance diesel forum now.

Further Update: The car is too slow currently, It gets to about 30 kph in first gear before the boost builds and kicks in, The turbo is currently at about 10 psi, once it builds it works great, but it takes way to long to build up. Starting off, takes a gentle foot and it would be difficult on an incline.
I shift into 4th at about 95 kph, (60 mph), and it is still out of the engines power band. The 2.27 rear gear will have to go, I will be installing a 2.88 or 3.07. I rigged up the gassers vacuum gauge to show the vacuum status on the engine, and i can see the vacuum drop dramatically as I play with the HVAC system, so that will need to be fixes as well.
