does anyone know how much a om617 weighs?
 

need the dry weight of a 617 with all accessories.dont have one handy to weigh.....

Figure about 600 lbs.:D

560ish without a starter....probably around 600 with....like was said above. :D

We just brought one home on our trailer recently....they are heavy!

I would have said more like 485.

There is a list of engine weights on the forum somewhere you can check.

Thats about all that occurs to me at the moment.some of these searches give a great amount of threads.too many to look thru.any thoughts on narrowing the search.
Forward Air would like as close to an exact weight(within reason) as possible.so really just trying to narrow the number(weight gap).no reason to spend more than needed right.
