You need to wood the console (where the shifter is). The part wood--part black doesn't look good, IMHO.

I agree. The hard part will be finding a wood console with no switch holes,

I might could learn to fight through the wood shifter nob, but the wood ashtray surrounded by the black looks like arse!
I would not have offered that had you not asked, and don't intend to be rude. But that is just awful! The black also compliments the radio.........{can't wood that now, can you?} **mods don't necessarily make things better, just makes them modded**

I share your opinion as well. I have a wood console but it needs to be refinished. It has the typical hazard switch and what I assume is a speaker fader switch. Not sure what you call that but it's ok if it's not hooked up. The problem I'm running into is that the console I do have needs to be refinished. I need to be educated in this area. So anyone who has any tips and advice I'm all ears

You could get some Zebra wood from a veneer suplier like Constantines in NJ, and make your own console wood panel. I think someone else on the forum did that. I believe it was Bodhibenz.

you can use any veneer. Vacuum bagging it would gurantee perfect adhesion, granted you use proper glue. I have a project on the back burner for my wood interior. From Zebra to Walnut Burl.
