My dads 07 F150 is broke, damn thought Ford made a good truck! Can't even go 6k miles without three trips to the dealer. First a transmission code and now a missfire.

Now he is like damn should have spent the extra money for a good truck...a Toyota.

The new ones must get better than that, my '86 with a 3 speed and no overdrive does.

I have a beast you can mount a M2 in, 1500 Chevy Tahoe gas and it gets 15 town/16.5 highway. Still wasteful, unless you need a real truck.

But not the point: Man, I saw some pretty cool turbo Ford Wagons in " Automotive", the French mag. Import those suckers! Oh, and ensure the injectors are biocompatible!

Ford could lead the diesel revolution here they werent so damn busy trying to shrink into the new auto world. Their P/U trucks ( pre 02-04//) make great grease burners. I;d almost swap the war truck for one. Was going to build a 12:1 alky motor for it.

What do you expect when its blowing raw fuel into the "clean" exhaust to burn off the soot filter?

If you buy an F-650/750, you can get a good engine. A 6.7L Cummins.
