Gift Store? you gotta be kidding, the item was oos (out of stock) in every parts place that MB uses including Stuttgart's main warehouse.
Here's the p/n 115-584-06-40 and for anyone so lucky to find one, I wanted to send it to be photocopied then the file can be into new "aftermarket" window stickers for sale to cover the cost of making them.

But if you don't have the sticker thats just one more thing making it less than a perfect vehicle. Might as well spend the $2.50....at this point its only like a drop into the swimming pool.

Original window sticker on my 1980. Is there supposed to be a signature visible from inside the car? There seems to be a faint signature on the inside of the sticker. Windshield looks like sandpaper and should be replaced.

mine is there... but it is wasted. The signature is clear.. the rest.. browned out and burnt. There is no way to duplicate.

Some say Mercedes Benz product, some say Daimler Benz product... fortunately none said Daimler Chrysler product in those years

We should whip up a batch with Rudolph Diesel's signature.

I'm probably going to replace the windsheild again when I get it painted since a truck took a nice chunk out of it, when I do I'll get the sticker!

I'd be in for one. The really new ones just say "mercedes".
