I need to replace my shroud on the 87 tdt w124 wagon,i do not have the special tool to remove the fan so i dont have to take radiator down,what is this tool? is it something i can get from either matco or snap on truck??
What is the best wat to change this shroud in case i cant get this tool??

That sucks. You don't have a manual for this engine?

The 123's have regular bolts on the fan. Have you tried the special tools section to get a look at it?

It can all be jury-rigged other than that shorty 8mm socket.

I use an 8mm key and a 10mm deep socket and breaker bar for leverage.
