Copper crush washer size? Drip tube connection..
As I am a 1000 miles from home, I am a little concerned about checking my injection pump timing because I do not have a replacement copper washer - and I sure don't want the thing to leak all the way home.
I know I can find similar crush washers locally at auto parts and hardware stores - but can I find one to match this application? Does it have to be copper - or will aluminum work? Or can I anneal it and just reuse the old one? I am trying to get as much info as possible BEFORE I pull the line and connect the drip tube. Thanks, ryan

You have to use the proper crush washer that is made for your Fuel Inection Pump. The reason is that the alloy of the crush washer for the IP is made of harder material than a regular copper washer.
You shold be able to get one from any fuel injection shop that works on Bosch Fuel Injection Pumps and I believe I have read somewhere in this forum that NAPA has them (I do not remember what model that was for though).
