Best places for new parts?

So I've been poking around and this is my shortlist of parts I will need:
(1998 E300 Turbo Diesel, Not to be confused with TD, which would be sweet)
Radiator -
Ac condensor - $145 Vatozone
Fan clutch - $106 Vatozone
Fan - $55 MBshop.com
serpentine belt - $27 MBshop.com
Hood - $120 local
bumper cover $77 local
grill - $43 local

So I was wondering if any knew of a good source for a radiator, I thought in my initial poking around I was seeing around $300 for some aftermarket units, but I cannot find them now. Also is the diesel unit the same as the gasser(pattioe!)?

Lastly, after getting into it I think I will replace part of the headlight bucket. Does anyone have access to parts fiches or a parts diagram so I can find the part number for this part(left and right please):

I'm hoping I will be able to replace that one verticle piece and not the upper support of the headlight bucket. As you can see it attaches with several spot welds to the frame rail and several to the upper headlight bucket support.

Thanks everyone!

I wouldn't buy the Autozone fan clutch...I have heard of those failing more times than I can remember, and it's happened to me a couple times. Get the fan clutch through Fastlane (this site)...everything else looks fine to me.

I am having mixed feelings about that, on the one hand every dollar I save is a dollar more in my pocket. The labor and trouble if I have to replace is pretty low on my my expense list.

For $60 more will it last 60% longer? I can't say, and at the end of the day this isn't my car, it will be my parents call, so the option is up to them.

I have found http://www.*************** to consistently have the best prices around, and the parts are all OEM. Plus it's free shipping over $50.

Whenever possible I try not to buy parts from the dealer, that said the other day the two rubber –O- rings that support my 240D muffler were down, fallen on the driveway, pretty cheap stuff, so I called the dealer, yes they do have them in stock for $5.40 each.

Just for the hell of it I checked with ************************ their price $0.90 each.

Yes, and its a toss up.

5x as much, 25x longer.

what if it were 5x as much and lasted 5x longer? $1 for a part that lasts 5 years.

Plus, you never know how long it will actually last.

Welp, found my part numbers, sent out some requests online, don't really feel like calling the dealer now to find the pricing, maybe later.

It pays to shop around. I like https://www.***************/index.html because their prices are some of the lowest. Hard to find parts and pieces can be found here on Fastlane, but honestly here even though I shop at Fastlane, I do wish their prices come down to competitive rates with other places. I know that they support this forum, but so do the advertisers here as well.

Some prices for certain parts here at Fastlane are higher than everyone else and I could see it if this was for Made in Germany parts, but often these are the same brands as others carry. I know that prices usually drop with volume buying.

It seems that there is always a cheaper source if one searches long enough, but as noted in previous posts, it is very often not the least expensive. I have been getting all of my parts from Fastlane for years and even if a specific part might be available for a few $ less elsewhere, it is not worth the hassle or taking a chance on getting inferior stuff. Phil's service and expertise are priceless; he goes the extra mile and then some. At the end of the day, over the long haul, Fastlane is competitive on price and also supports this forum. It's a no brainer chief.
