1978 240D Throttle Linkage Setup

Hello All!!!
I am in a bit of a bind. A year or more ago I removed the Injector pump out of my engine (1978 240D with a manual transmission and no cruise control) since I had narrowed that down to be the reason my trusty stead would no longer start. I found out that the pump was in need of a rebuild. In lieu of getting that done at a hefty price I began searching for a used one. Found one!!!!! Now the problem goes is where does everything go as in the throttle linkages???? I have the pump installed, fuel lines reconnected, but am not sure I have the right parts in place for the throttle to work from my accelerator pedal. Most of my Benz owning buddies have newer versions with different set-ups. The 81 240D linkage is not the same as my engine from what I see under his hood. Forget about the auto transmission ones because they have all sorts of other devices and such that I don't ( I know I have a 300TD and a 300D).
Anyone out there have a 1978 240D that could take a few pictures of their throttle linkage setup and send them my way???? I would be most thankful.

The pump makes no difference to the linkage setup.

The early W123 have a different throttle linkage setup than the later ones.

sksmith- From my memory: your "gas" pedal is attached to a bar linkage that runs along the firewall from the driver's to passenger's side. from there, there is an arm that extends down, a ball linkage should connect from this arm to a bell crank on the passenger side of the block. Another linkage runs from the bell crank up the side of the block to another bell crank on the valve cover. From this bell crank a linkage extends to the injection pump.

Even still, changing the injection pump wouldn't change the linkage operation. Its just a lever on the side of the pump, the same between all the w123 616's no matter auto or manual.

I think he forgot how to re-attach that linkage to the go pedal.
