All of the above do you no good without your torque wrench to reinstall.

See BUY PARTS, then MB tool link above.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Actually Bucks County is more suburbia these days, although we still get some nice deer and even the occasional bear.

After consulting with fryerpower I am going to run B100 on the way home. I'll take an extra filter or 2 with me and don't anticipate any problems. I'll be making a stop or 2 on the way home with folks who can help me out if needed. Just pray for my safe trip, I'll post up some pics when I get back!

I'm very excited to have my first diesel benz!

Well just wanted to update. I picked up the car on Thursday and is in very good shape. A few minor things appeared on the drive home- belt tensioner noise, sunroof not closing all the way, power window fuse kept blowing.

The car had 1/4 tank when I picked it up, against the advice here I went and filled it up with B100 and also 15 gallons in the trunk. Friday I drove from Houston to Atlanta and Saturday filled it up again with B100 and the spare containers. Both from commercial sources. Car ran terrific and I swear it sounds even better now that it has had a few tanks of biodiesel. No problems with the filter even though I had a spare with me. Smells wonderful!!!

I love the car, drives great on the highway and handles awesome on the curves driving through Smoky Mt National Park.
