Trans fluid leak 79 300 TD,Help

While checking injectors for leak, I ran enjine @ 3000 rpm for about a min. after shutdown noticed tranny fluid leaking from what appears to be from inside housing, does not appear to be cooling line. It should be noted thatnow my doors and trunk no longer work with key as they did prior to trans leak. Need to know possible cause, things to check, and an explanation of how trans cooling works on this engine, what is inside that could have failed etc... Jerry

Perhaps you dislodged a vacuum line while you were under the hood ?

Why don't you try a can of Trans-x and see if that will swell that front trans seal...it might... if it does not you are looking at taking the trans out and fixing it..
