R12 can tap

I need to add a little R12 to my AC system. I have a can but my brother cannot find his can tap. Does any one in eastern Mass southern NH area have one I can borrow for a day or so?

I live in Colorado, but was able to buy tap, hoses and gauge for R-12 from napa. You might give them a try. I think the tap was around 10 bucks.

My local Auto Zoo sells them for about $7.50 each. You might try them if you have one in your area.

be sure you are getting the tap for R12... the 134 tap will NOT work!

If you wind up buying one, get the universal can tap that wraps around the can. It has both R12 & 134a fittings.
