What Temp should the A/C Aux fan kick on?
I have just had the blower motor on my 124 replaced. $175 later and we're enjoying A/C again. But I noticed that my temps which usually run around 90C are more around 100C to 110C now that I'm running the A/C.
The Aux fan isn't coming on. Should it be?

The electric fan should come on if the coolant temp exceeds 105C (high speed) or if the refrigerant in the a/c exceeds 60C (low speed).

The aux fan should come on at 100c (water temp).

Yes it should come on at 100C. Check the fuse, it may look fine but it can be bad. I would remove it and replace it, cheap and easy to do.

I think my fuse is ok. I connected the wires on the switch on the A/C dryer and it turned the fan on right away. So I guess the switch on the dryer must be bad? maybe?

Oh and where is the sensor to the fan that's on the engine (engine coolant temp)?
