When I took Max to American Service Center in Arlington, the salesmanager came out to look at it and sign zee papers. He said he thought Max was "a cool-looking car" and seemed duly impressed. He's there to sell new cars, though, so I realize there is only so much enthusiasm for the classics. That's okay. Now, I have to take the Dee8gonator in to get it's badge.

Does anyone know how to protect and preserve the badge from dicoloration and chipping? Seems I saw a suggestion from somebody who advised applying a double coat of polyurethane prior to installation?????

I've been looking for that thread\post, too. I know I've read it. Just cannot find it. I bet JimmyL could find it......He always finds old posts\threads about stuff.

Maybe it's because I marked that their mileage conversion for the 500K badge was wrong when I sent in my form.
