I have to get all the cars out of my yard... the neighbors have reported me for excessive cars.
I have:
3 126 SD's
3 123 D's
3 123 TD's

I am actively taking requests for entire cars, parts etc.
let me know by PM, here, or on email

sorry to hear it, same thing happened to my friend. He painted a car for a neighbor for the price of paint. The neighbor decided he wanted a different color after the job was done. My friend told him he would change it when he finished with some others that he had promised to do in line after the guy, that wasnt fast enough so the guy reported him to the city for painting in his garage and he was shut down......

good luck with it...

So. How many cars can you have in Nazi NC?

:)

vstech 06-15-2008 10:59 PM

two... unregistered.

vstech 06-15-2008 10:59 PM

I have nearly 40...

79Mercy 06-15-2008 11:01 PM

So your allowed to have atleast 2 unregistered cars on your property in NC?

charmalu 06-15-2008 11:25 PM

So you have nearly 40 cars, and 9 are excess. HMMM. doesn`t make since.

It`s that way all over the country, these damn people making stupid laws we all have to live with. Nosey neighbors that don`t have enough to do. we have the left wing liberal, commi, socialist, nazi, tree hugging loosers making life miserable for the rest of us.

When you send a car to the crusher, Duct tape the neighbor and send him/her/them along with it.

I think we have some of their relatives around here.

That's been my problem here. Cannot have any unregistered vehicles unless they are inside a garage. Three of these are registered and insured.........the fourth one is on borrowed time...........but, the neighbors haven't complained.

Are you going to part the SD's?

Perhaps the remaining 31 (more or less) are not MB's and do not merit listing in a Mercedes forum.

Make "since?"

vstech 06-16-2008 12:32 AM

only 9 of the cars are Benz...
the rest are buick, dodge, Olds, and chevy... and a ford or two... most are going straight to the crusher... I have a junk guy lined up, I just don't want to send the benz's there.
I will keep two or three of the benz. I just gotta go register them.

vstech 06-16-2008 12:39 AM

you guys are going to love the "reason" they called me in on the cars...
they were trimming and removing trees one weekend, and the guys they had doing it, got behind, so they continued on into the night last sunday... large branch got away from them, and it took down their power drop, and took out my power as well as their own...
me being an electrician, went over to help and found damaged conduit to their meter can, so I cut the seal and pulled off the cover to verify no damage was done to the conductors. apparently this angered them, and they did not let me know they were angered by this, they just sat over there for a week and fumed about it, and they cut all my red tips down to 1' above the ground. and decided to punish me for the "damage" I did to their power box and called in the city on my cars.
am I lucky to have such bright neighbors or what?

H-townbenzoboy 06-16-2008 12:45 AM

My question is what are you doing with 40 junk cars? And how big is your yard?!

charmalu 06-16-2008 12:49 AM

Here is Ca, you have to keep them registered or file a non-op with the DMV. I think if they are registered they have to have insurance also.

If the registration expires, there are penalities. Don`t pay for several years and decide to register, have to pay for ea yr. up to current and penalities. I have two in-op and one unregistered for the past 29 yrs:eek:.
been sitting in the barn.

show us some pictures, and maybe you can be a mini PNP:D

While that is mostly true there are situations that are different. I found this out last friday when I called DMV about a car I am thinking about getting back on the road that has been parked for 6 years. I was told it depended on what way the reg. was canceled when the car was taken off the road so you have to give them a licence number or the VIN and they will let you know if you need to pay just the current year or all years.
