Yeah thats a great idea spray the MAF with oil! If you do the WD40 thing make sure to cough up $250 on Fastlane and order a new MAF because after the car starts and the CE light comes on your going to need it.
Its a self purging system, crank it. You won't hurt the starter thats what it was designed for.

When I did my delivery valves, with the only things disconnected and reconnected being the hard lines, it took about 6 tries of about 20-30 seconds of cranking to get it going. As recommended, I rested the starter for 5-10 minutes between tries. With an empty tank and lines, I would not know how long it will take to get the fuel to the engine. My fuel gauge is broken, but I keep close tabs on my mileage between fill ups, and refuel when I hit the 350-375 mile mark. The last thing I want to do is run my tank dry, no matter where I am.

Thanks for the help guys. I filled the fuel filter with Diesel 911 and it started on the 2nd try.
