Venting the blowby into the aircleaner or turbo inlet helps keep the outside of the engine clean since it pulls a slight negative pressure in the crankcase, thus reducing oil leaks. That's one reason to keep the car stock.
Some people here have vented the blowby into a bottle that they occasionally empty. Pictures have been posted; I'm not sure what terms to use in a search to bring them up. You should play with the search function trying things like "blowby," "crankcase," etc. Maybe someone else will remember an old post with pictures of what some have done. Jeremy

You can use a oil catch can, look this up, type it into google. Then just route the exhaust from the oil catch can back to the intake. this will keep it all factory but reduce the oil going into the intake. Import Tuner use this on higher reving turbo cars to reduce oil in the intake.

I vent mine directly to the atmosphere via a road draft tube, that way I know my engine is taking in only clean air and my intercooler isnt being contaminated by oil.
A few drips per day isn't worth the hassle of making a catch can system. |
