W123 vs. W124 interior
I have an '83 and I'm wondering which interior parts from an '87 300E are interchangeable between the two? Front seats? Underdash panels? Seatbelts? Thanks for any insight into this out there.

Not much
I have one of each also, and there is really a great difference in the two bodies. I think it is to much to hope that parts will interchange, but perhaps by careful fitting and planing and making new attachment holes, some might be made to fit.

Thanks, Jim.
Thanks for your reply. So what about sunvisors? (Wishful thinking, but I can always hope, right?)

You might be able to move the front seats. It might be nice (or not) to have power seats but you'd have to figure out how to install control switches. The W124 seat control switches are in the door panel, a lot of work to retrofit into a car that never had them. One thing to look for is a version of the front dome light that has a map light but fits in the W123 hole (NOT the W124 dome light with all its switches and sensors). Some early S-class cars had them. I got mine from an early-80s 500 SEC. Jeremy
