W123 manual transmission

Hi all

recently I put a four speed manual transmission from a 240 D into my 300D. I prefer the manual to the old automatic. I would like to find a 5 speed overdrive to fit my 1981 300D, can anyone help me? Thanks, den MAssachusetts

Ya good luck. 5speed OEM can be had for $1000 after shipping or so from across the pond.

Wouldn't we all.

You'll either get lucky and stumble across one for cheap or pay out the @ss to buy one off ebay. One recently sold for $2200 in the USA and shipping an 80lb transmission a few thousand miles across the ocean isn't cheap either.
