Yes, I have been asking for 4-wheel alignment prices each time I call.

An alignment at my local MB dealer was $130, after a $30 coupon. I had to take it back twice for it to be right. But, I got free car washes and use of their fancy coffee machine! I wish there were more competent places for alignments for MB's, it seems the dealer can't get it right many times. The shop foreman had to align my car himself after the techs kept screwing up. It now has a straight wheel and it tracks and wears tires perfectly.

My alignment guy charges $35.00 for the front only and $70-90 on 4 wheel alignment. Mariah just needs the front due to the Hydraulic rear suspension. Don't know about my newly acquired 300SD "Freesil". She does need one NOW!

Last August I paid my indy $100 to align the front end of my 1985 300D-T and $50 to rebalance all four tires.

Local guy, very particular. 65 bucks all 4.

I bought some new GSD3 Goodyears and had him mount and balance them. He went so far as to rotate the tire on the rim until he did not need to use a weight. And the other three needed weights, but minimal, because he rotated the tires on the rims to get minimal imbalance.

On another note: I called Pep Boys here in NY to find out what it might cost to put my own new coil springs into the car. He said $200 plus $69 for an alignment. I'm not sure I can trust them to do either, but the price is right for my $400 car!

I got my 96 done at NTB (National Tire and Battery) for $60 something, it was less than $70. They give you the before and after specs too. It drives straight, but the steering wheel is kinda off to the right. It was like that before though. They did tell me what stuff they were not able to do also, which was either the caster or camber, dont remember which. Regardless, it drives MUCH better and straighter.

On my car the front tires are wearing evenly and the steering wheel is straight. The rears are wearing on the inside ( like trunk is overloaded )
but rear of car is level. Any fix for that?
Thanks.

there is not much to be done for rear alignment on a 123. not sure on the 126's. but worn bushings can be bad news on tires, and worn springs will make the caster off.

I got mine done at a tire shop which used a Hunter(made in USA) laser machine- no issues with that. $68.99 out the door. any shop w/ a good laser machine should be fine- no reason to support the dealership w/ this one.

I'd pay $150 for a proper alignment! I can't get one anywhere. Nobody uses the spreader bar, and my car won't find center anymore! I swear that my cars drove better with worn suspension parts. Once I had stuff changed and aligned, it was all over.

Side note, that sounds like a stearing box issue to me (on not returning to center...)
