Bolt size
 
Can someone tell me what size bolt(s) the A/C compressor mounts with in an '83 300d ? I bought my car without.

In addition to the bolts, there are three different spacers that fit between the compressor and bracket. One of the spacers is part of the tensioning mechanism. And at least one bolt has a long spacer behind the bracket.

Sorry, I can't help you with the size and threads.
Here's some part numbers, maybe your local MB shop can help.
They can't be more than a couple bucks each.

The same compressor mounting unit exists on all 123 class diesels (240D, 300D, 300DT turbos) with the AC Delco compressor.

A lot of board members are parting out their 123 diesels so these should be easy to come across.
