Oil leak at pre-combustion chambers
I've got the 617 engine up and running in my Land Rover but have noticed a bit of oil seeping between the head and the pre-combustion chambers. Is this a common problem you guys see? I'm not sure how they seat in the head but I'm wondering if it's as easy as pulling the injectors and tightening them up a bit? Any thought are appreciated.
Thanks! Jim

I will say this even though it seems too obvious.
Usually when there appears to be a leak around the injectors it ends up being the return line hoses. Tom W

Actually, it's leaking engine oil, not fuel oil.

Then it should be a valve cover gasket issue, I believe.

2 dr Range Rover coming
Since this thread showed some interest in Land Rovers and diesels, the new Range Rover Sports coming out in '09 will be offered in a 2 door with a V-6 Turbo Diesel option- pretty sweet methinks.
