W123 - Have to remove radiator to remove condenser?
DO I have to remove the radiator like it says in the FSM, to remove the condenser? Seems like the condenser will slide out the fan if taken off.
Thanks

Yes, my condenser came right out without removing the radiator. You can disconnect clips at the top of the radiator to move it slightly. This all on a 1981 300D.

no dice
I couldnt get the condenser out with the radiator in. Gave up. Do it next weekend...
I've got a 83 240D and there's only about 2 inches the radiator can go backwards. The condenser's mounting brackets get stuck on the chassis when I try pull it out. Am I missing something?
