I saw about a program about Ethanol, but while i was watching i saw a gas station selling E85 Diesel Ethanol... Do you think that it needs modification to run this Ethanol Diesel????

Diesohol is 10-20% ethanol. What you probably heard is the gas station sells E85, Diesel and Ethanol.

Probably. There is E85 and there is diesel and there is gas and biodiesel. Never heard of E85 diesel.

Id imagine this would be just as detrimental as adding gasoline to your diesel.

Worse
The damned Alcohol attracts moisture through the tank vent!

OOOOO, watch out! Alcohol mixed with your diesel might create an "explosive atmosphere" in your tank - under perfect conditions it might even approach being half as explosive as what's in the tank of every gasoline powered vehicle. So now your diesel tank will be half as explosive as that of about 90% of all vehicles on the road... Pu-leeeease, what a joke!

As long as you burn a tank of fuel within a couple of weeks, I wouldn't imagine the amount of water vapor aborbed by the 10%-20% alcohol content of the fuel would amount to much. Also, if you are letting your vehicle sit with a half tank of fuel for months on end, even without alcohol in the fuel there is going to be some moisture condensing on the exposed inside walls of the tank and settling to the bottom. That being the case, would it be better or worse to have that water aborbed into alcohol passing through your injection system - rather than having it pass through as pure water? I would think it would be better for it to be absorbed into the alcohol...

the alcohol in the fuel removes the water from the fuel that condenses in the tank, or comes from the pump. it's a good thing. the water is going to be there regardless, so it's better to have some alcohol in there to disperse it, rather than letting it sit and cause rust or get into the fuel system and damage pistons, injectors, etc...

I'd rather have pockets of water so the filter will catch and separate it rather than going through the injection system.
