engine switch question...
How feasible is it to replace a 617(84 300D turbo) with a 603(87 300TD)?Is this something that will involve major reconstruction of the engine bay and mounts, etc.Or is it something that can be done fairly easily.

It can and has been done, but there will be a lot of custom fabrication.

I wouldn't mind doing this swap. Haven't found anyone who has done it, but I've seen a W123 that some Finns dropped a 606 into. No details, however.
