W123 Seats: Wagon vs. Sedan
Are the 300TD front seats different from the 300D seats? Can they be swapped?
Thanks for any insight out there. Last edited by mrdjsk; 07-10-2008 at 03:43 AM. Reason: incomplete |

Rear seats, yes they're different between the two models. Front seats, no they're interchangeable.
You won't be able to install wagon rear (2nd row) seats into a sedan. However I have seen coupe rear seats fit into a sedan. The fronts might need modification for the vacuum control. The bottom cushion of the C123 front seats are more inclined than those in the sedans, I'd love to have those in my car if that were even possible. But I heard the hinge mechanism makes it difficult for just a bottom frame swap only. Sorry got carried away

Yes, the front sedan seats will fit into a wagon without any problem.
