flex pipe w123 non turbo wagon question
 
1980 300TD,loud
Question
Can i just change the flex portion or do i need a whole new down pipe?
Its on a w123 1980 300td(non Turbo of course)
Napa has flex pipe 2 inches or 2.5 inches 18 inches in diameter for 7 dollars,i was thinking of just buying that and fixing mine.

You can always just pipe clamp something that wont burn on it. Otherwise find one at the junkyard. Downpipe is single piece AFAIK.
