Electric Discussion

Do you think there will soon be an Electric Discussion Panel? They say they are to introduce 7 or more plug-in cars in the next very soon years. I keep wondering if big oil will allow it.

Big oil will not be able to stop it even if they wished. My guess is instead they will diversify their interests to cover that emerging field. Basically hedging their bets. Petroleum fuelled vehicles will be with us still for quite awhile yet remember as well.

Certainly a site will errupt. How to fix your speed controllers after warranty for example. Plus the changes in battery technology etc. will require one. I believe oil companies have already hugely invested in that area already. This might be the area a country like China wins by default eventually.

Right now I think they are the production centre for leading edge batteries already. The company designated 123 batteries seems to be getting more active and attracting more money all the time. Even general motors has finally came to the conclusion of what it is going to take to stay in business very reciently. A little late but perhaps better than never.

Plug-ins won't work, they will overwhelm the power grid and they shift the emissions from a tightly controlled car to dirty power stations.
