top dead center on 115- no manual

I know i can rotate the crank to turn the engine. Are there timing marks on the 240d? this is a 1976 115 body.
With the valve cover removed, will I see any markings on the top timing chain pulley?

In my opinion they should be there. Too much of an animal to time without. Plus cam timing marks have been on their gas engines for what seems like forever.
