blower motor roasting my f#(*&^ nuts off

So I have read about 40 blower motor post now and don't see my symptoms. The sweat from my last drive has almost died!

Here's the deal, I get cold air, dash pods all work, blower motor blows weakly.

My ignition is kind of worn, so when you start the car you must turn the key back very slightly before the ventilation comes to life. When it does the blower starts out real strong and then after 1 or 2 seconds slows to a steady weak breeze.

So is this a blower issue? old motor bad brushes? Could the ACC be screwing with me? Is the ignition involved? Help I am hot as hell.

Check the fuse ends for oxidation. Use a scotch brite pad to clean 'em up as well as the fuse holder contacts. Sorry, I don't recall which fuse it is. Not a bad idea to do them all.

Most electrical problems on these cars are from bad fuse connections. I'd check that first.

Looking into the crystal ball ...

CCU does not like un-stable Amperage/Voltage from electrical portion of ignition
switch.
(AND ,I think you're looking at blower Brushes in your near future)
