I've always kind of envied people who can name their cars. While I enjoy my vehicles and care for them, I've never really been able to personify them. I always simply refer to them as "the Ford", "the truck", "the Mercedes", etc...

My GF kind of calls my truck "Zena the Warrior Princess" because it's tough and pretty though, I'd say it's more of a "Red Sonja" because it's red.

The Mercedes is like a "Maria" because it's black... (Pronounced "Mariah". That's the right spelling, look up the meaning of the word... )

Line from Young Frankenstien describing the brain Eyegore stole for the monster. The engine and trans in our 84 300D is a transplant from an abnormal looking crusty 83 300D.

The old car was simply known as The Benz, Das Benz, or The SD, the new car seems to have taken over those names, so the old one is known as Garage Queen, and The Retired Car (Since its staying in my moms garage for the next 5 years or so until I have money to get her restored, and it leaks so it has to be kept indoors)
